01Who is responsible for your data?

02Legal framework

MASCO SARL processes personal data in accordance with Senegalese law no. 2008-12 of 25 January 2008 on the protection of personal data, under the supervision of the Commission for the Protection of Personal Data (CDP). We also aim to respect the principles of the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

03What we collect, why and for how long

We only collect what you send us yourself, or what is technically necessary for the site to work.

• Contact and consultation forms — name, email, phone, organisation, subject and message. Purpose: to answer your request. Retention: three years after our last exchange.
• Applications (“Careers”) — identity, contact details, CV, cover letter and message. Purpose: to review your application. Retention: for the duration of the recruitment process, then two years at most after our last contact, unless you ask for deletion sooner.
• Technical data — IP address, date, page viewed, browser type, recorded by the server. Purpose: security and proper operation of the site. Retention: twelve months at most.

04Your attachments stay private

CVs and cover letters are never reachable through a public address: they are saved in a private area of the server and can only be viewed by the people at MASCO SARL in charge of recruitment.

05Who receives your data?

Only the MASCO SARL staff authorised to handle your request, and our technical providers (server hosting, email delivery) who act solely on our instructions. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

06Cookies and trackers

This site sets no advertising cookies and includes no social network or ad network trackers. A session cookie exists only for the administration area reserved for our staff: it is strictly necessary for it to work and does not affect visitors.

The WhatsApp button loads nothing until you click it: the click redirects you to WhatsApp, whose own terms apply.

Should we ever add a tool that requires your consent, a consent banner would be shown first.

07Audience measurement

This site measures its audience with a tool that sets no cookies and does not follow you across sites: only aggregated, anonymous statistics are produced (page views, general origin, device type). If your browser asks not to be tracked (Do Not Track), that setting is honoured.

08Security

Exchanges with the site are encrypted (HTTPS), access to data is restricted to authorised people after authentication, and application documents are stored outside the public area of the server.

09Your rights

You can exercise the following rights over your data at any time by writing to contactezmas@gmail.com:

• access the data we hold about you;
• have it corrected if it is inaccurate;
• request its deletion;
• object to its processing or ask for it to be restricted.

10If you disagree

We answer every request within one month. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may contact the Commission for the Protection of Personal Data (CDP) of Senegal.

11Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated, in particular if we add a feature that collects new data. The date of the latest revision appears at the top of the page.
